Description
The Pretzel are served in Munich for breakfast, with veal sausage or just because. Court purveyor Jospeh Eilles employed the baker Anton Nepomuk Pfannenbrenner in his coffee house in Residenzstraße in 1893. Instead of sugar water, he brushed a caustic soda solution onto the previously sweet pretzels. This is how he invented the pretzel, which is a symbol of the city.
The pretzel bracelet is made in southern Germany. The Munich symbol is high-quality rhodium-plated and the fabric ribbon is hand-knotted.
