Description
The Eiffel Tower is the landmark of Paris and is considered a symbol of France. The iron lattice tower was built by Gustave Eiffel between 1887 and 1889 for the Universal Exhibition. To this day, it is the tallest building in the city and is one of the most visited sights in the world. You can get to the top either on foot or by elevator. There is a restaurant on the second floor and three viewing platforms at different heights. The gold-plated Eiffel Tower bracelet is made in southern Germany. The Munich symbol is plated in fine gold and the fabric ribbon is hand-knotted.
