Description
A Heart made of gingerbread is not only available at the Oktoberfest in Munich, but also at folk festivals and Christmas markets. It is bought as a declaration of love or as a souvenir and used for decoration. The gingerbread heart was invented by Munich baker Gustav Tschernich, who first supplied it to Oktoberfest caterers in the 1960s. Since then, the heart has been a symbol of the Bavarian capital.
The Micro Heart rhodium-plated bracelet is made in southern Germany. The Munich symbol is rhodium-plated and the fabric band is hand-knotted. The high-quality rhodium plating protects the heart pendant from tarnishing and the sliding knot makes it easy to adjust the size on the wrist.
